The Omaha World-Herald, a Lee Enterprises, Inc. paper is seeking a full-time Press Supervisor, who is responsible for quality, timely and smooth nightly press operations, which print multiple Lee Enterprises newspapers for the region. Operations include producing print products according to specification and within deadlines. Press operations also include setting up press equipment, press maintenance, loading reels with newsprint, make pasters, monitor reel units, set ink densities and registrations, operate folding machines, assist in the plate room and ensure safety regulations are followed. This position is also responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling press team members.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability lead a team and operations, ability to understand the press and printing components and process, troubleshoot problems, thrive in a deadline-driven environment and shows a commitment to quality and process improvement. Pressroom experience or manufacturing experience is preferred.
