The Daily News is looking for a team oriented individual to work with our independent contractors to ensure the distribution of printed materials are delivered accurately, assist customers and contractors with route issues, and deliver un-contracted routes for home delivery if needed.
Working as part of our Circulation team, duties include reviewing distribution and staging of our printed products at the drop sites, verifying accurate and timely distribution of printed products to our independent contractors, and identifying early morning delivery issues and working with redelivery staff to resolve them.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to organize information, handle multiple tasks, have excellent communication and customer service skills, and be thoroughly familiar with the Longview, WA area.
This 20-29 hour position will work primarily 11pm to 530am with additional shifts as scheduled. The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $15.00 per hour.
We offer a paid time program, earning up to 60 hours each fiscal year, (2.31 hours each pay period.). In addition, you will earn sick time at the rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked per state law. Company paid life insurance at 1x your annual salary is included.
Position requires a valid Driver's license and good driving record. Pre-employment drug screen and background/DMV check required.
