Public Facilities District Administrator
POSITION OVERVIEW: These services are to be provided through a professional services contract, and the individual performing these duties will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare the agenda and supporting documents for District Board meetings.
- Prepare documentation for payment of all invoices and other financial obligations of the PFD in accordance with County, City and State Auditor requirements.
- Report monthly financial information of the District’s revenues, expenditures, budget status, cash balances, and cash flow.
- Develop the required annual budgets in accordance with the County’s guidelines.
- Act as liaison for the PFD during the State Auditor’s periodic audits of the PFD.
- Monitor the requirements and conditions of the Interlocal Agreements with Cowlitz County and the City of Longview to assure the District is fulfilling its obligations.
- Monitor the County’s performance and the performance of the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts (CTPA) of their obligations in the Interlocal Agreements.
- Provide coordination between the PFD, Cowlitz County, CTPA, and City of Longview staff to assure the effective operation of the regional conference center and the Columbia Theatre.
- Attend all regular District Board meetings and any special meetings to which the Board of Directors requests attendance.
- Provide input and recommendations to the PFD Board on any proposed State legislation that may impact the PFD, and provide assistance whenever new legislation is enacted requiring implementation by the PFD.
- Coordinate and assist the District’s Attorney.
- Perform special projects or duties as determined and assigned from time-to-time by the Board of Directors, including assisting and participating in any future planning efforts.
COMPENSATION: This position will be through a professional services contract, with an hourly rate to be negotiated.
