Summary:
Personable, engaging instructors needed to teach adult personal enrichment classes for the following programs:
- Embark Program for Young Adults - classes and experiences designed to impart life skills for a safe, secure and fun transition into adulthood.
- Endeavor Program for Adults - classes and interactive experiences that engage the mind and the body. http://www.clcillinois.edu/programs-and-classes/personal-enrichment/personal-enrichment-courses
- Discover Program for Mature Adults - immersive learning experiences which provide a deep dive into a variety of subjects. http://www.clcillinois.edu/programs-and-classes/personal-enrichment/discovery

Required Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional ability to engage participants
- Relevant teaching experience
- Competency and/or commitment to learn and use instructional technologies, used at CLC: Zoom, Canvas, Destiny, Adobe Cloud, Microsoft 365, etc.
- A course proposal form and demonstration of teaching style will be required.
- Ability to work effectively and constructively work with persons of diverse cultures, gender identities, language groups, and abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Summary of Essential Functions:
Develop and conduct proposed programs and classes. Fulfill administrative requirements.
